Booking Policy

By booking an appointment you are agreeing to the policies put in place by either Danielle or Steph. Danielle and Steph reserve the right to make amendments to the policies outlined on this page at any time without prior warning.

By booking a service at Dead Pretty, you are agreeing to the booking policies and terms and conditions set out below:

Bookings

  • Diaries are usually open 1-2 months in advance. You will be contacted by Danielle or Steph when it is time to rebook your appointments in advance.
  • Please ensure that you book all your appointments in advance - We are extremely busy and can’t promise to squeeze you in last minute.
  • Please ensure you read through all the service descriptions and you are booking the correct treatment. We will not usually have time on the day to make any amendments to your booking.

Before your Appointment:

  • Please ensure that if it is your first appointment with us, that you come with bare naked
    nails. Due to insurance purposes, we are unable to work on any nails that have product
    on applied by another technician unless discussed prior. This will need to be completely removed prior to yourfirst appointment. Please give us a message if you need any info on what to buy to remove gels at home.
  • If you have booked nail art, please send any inspo pics to us a few days before your appointment.

Arrival:

  • The studio is only little so once you have arrived, please give us a message and wait in your car until we have contacted you.
  • Please take care on the stairs up to the studio. They are quite narrow & steep!
  • Please come to your appointment alone. It’s not a safe space for children so please don’t bring them with you.
  • From time to time, Danielle’s cocker spaniel Pippa likes to visit the Studio. She gets very excited to see new friends, but soon settles after a little fuss. If you are uncomfortable with dogs being present at your appointment, please let me know.

Changes & Cancellations:

  • Please ensure that if you need to change your appointment, you do this before 48h. This gives us enough time to try and fill the space.
  • We appreciate that things just happen however please just be considerate to the fact that it is not our fault, and we still have expenses and bills to pay for from our side.
  • Any cancellations within 48h will require 50% of the treatment cost.
  • Any cancellations within 24h or same day cancellations will require 100% of the treatment cost.
  • If you arrive to your appointment and decide that you want a reduced service you will still need to pay the full amount for the treatment booked.

Lateness & No Shows:

  • Please let us know ASAP if you are going to be late. Anything more than 15 minutes we will either have to do a reduced service, or cancel the appointment which will incur a charge of 100% of the full booked service(s)
  • Failure to attend an appointment will be classed as a no-show with a fee of 100% of the service(s) cost due.

Payments:

  • Please check with your technician the ideal payment method.
  • Usually, payments for treatments can be paid for via cash, card or bank transfer.
  • Change may not be available so please make sure you bring the correct amount.
